The 50/50 Sock
These comfy socks utilize the best of both knit and crochet - a knitted ribbing keeps them up, a crocheted leg makes them look great in a hurry, and the knitted foot makes them comfortable to wear in your shoes.
Intermediate level for a women's size medium/large, about a US size 8 shoe. Materials needed include about 400 yards of sock weight yarn, size 2/2.75mm DPNS, and size C/2/2.25mm crochet hook. $5.00 via instant download.

Here is version two - same great pattern, different type of yarn for a different look. This pair is made with one skein (360 yards) 100% Superwash Merino - Fibra Natura Yummy.
