Versions 1 and 2

I like to make shawls, but sometimes they are awkward to wear so I tend to restrict them to formal occasions. This casual shawls is extra wide at the top so you can tie it around your shoulders, leaving your hands free to bike, antique, or do whatever is your free time activity of choice without worrying about your beautiful shawl getting mangled.
It's unique construction came about because I hate to sew seams! This shawl grows organically from bottom point to top edge with only two short seams to sew together at the end.
Advanced beginner level crochet due to construction, not stitches: 27 " x 60" finished. Materials needed include 880 yards of worsted weight yarn (Model is in Valley Yarns Colrain), crochet hook size I/9/5.5mm, and a tapestry needle to weave in ends and sew two seams. This is version 1. $6.00
There are two versions of this pattern - the pattern is the SAME in each version, the only difference is the photos and materials. Version 2 (which is lighter and smaller) is below.
