Felting is one of those techniques that has an addictive quality - once you try it, you will find yourself throwing all sorts of wooly goodness into the washing machine to see what comes out.
Astral works up very quickly and requires just two short seams before it is felted, so finishing is done in a snap. Experiment with different color combinations and handles to get a unique bag you will love.
Easy level crochet: 9" x 16" after felting, not including handle. Materials needed include approximately 500 yards each of worsted weight feltable wool in four colors. Model is shown in Universal Yarn Deluxe Worsted, 2 skeins Caribbean Sea (#3669),1 skein each of #12257 White, #31952 Neutral Gray, and # 91477, with a lot of yarn leftover. Crochet hook size K/10.5/6.5mm, a tapestry needle to weave in ends, and a pair of rigid purse handles approximately 5" x 6". $6.00 via instant download.
