The Geometry Purse

Worked in squares and a circle with interior lines that suggest triangles, this sturdy bag shows there really is a use for geometry in life after high school - even for creative types! The larger, two-toned bag was worked in two colors of worsted weight yarn held double throughout, the smaller one was one stread of a thick and thin hand painted heavy worsted.

Beginner level crochet: 16" finished tall, 11 " diameter base for the larger bag, 12" tall, 10" diameter base for the smaller one. Materials needed include 720 yards worsted weight yarn in Color A, 369 yards in Color B for two-toned bag (Model is Universal Yarn Soleil), or 595 yards dk weight 100% linen for solid bag (Model is in Fibra Natura Flax). Crochet hook size K/10.5/6.5mm for larger bag, G/6/4.0 mm for smaller, and a tapestry needle to weave in ends. Lining materials are optional. $6.00 via instant download.
